1.When I use my Gmail® account, why does a mail that I have deleted using RemoMail still show up in my Gmail®?
This happens if you have not selected the right settings for your Gmail® account. To avoid this, you may go to Gmail>settings>forwarding & POP>enable POP for all mail> delete Gmail’s copy. Unless this is done, Gmail® continues to save a copy of the mail in the inbox even after you delete a mail.(Refer to the screen shot of the settings screen given below)

This is particular to Gmail® account, since Gmail® stores each mail as a conversation between sender and receiver. Appropriate settings on your Gmail® account should take care of this. (Refer to the screen shot of the settings screen given below)

4.I have configured a Yahoo account on RemoMail but I cannot access my emails. I get a failed message, why?
Before configuring your mail account for use on RemoMail please ensure that your mail account has been enabled for POP forwarding and access. You may do this by accessing your mail account through a browser and making the necessary changes to the default settings.
This feature may not be available on all the Yahoo.com accounts. Please check with your email service provider for further details. (Refer to the screen shot of the settings screen given below)

5.Sometimes I get a “Server not found” error, why?
This happens if the network is busy and the server is not able to service your requests. You may try again after some time.

6.I have stored 50 quick messages. I am trying to add another one, why do I get a message “Max 50 messages only”?
RemoMail can store up to a maximum of 50 quick messages based on your phone’s capacity. RemoMail will display this message if you attempt to save a quick message beyond the possible 50 messages that RemoMail supports.
Resolution:
Delete unwanted quick messages before attempting to add a new Quick message.

7.I get a “No Memory” error when I try to do any operation on RemoMail?
This happens if the Mobile phone you are using has free space of less than 15 KB or if you have reached the maximum number of files that can be created on your mobile phone.
Resolution:
Delete unwanted applications and clear some old email messages that may be present in your outbox or other folders and try again.

8.I get an “Invalid email id” when I try to login, why?
This happens if you have entered a wrong user id.
Resolution:
Please check the user name and password again before attempting to connect again.

This happens if you have entered wrong user credentials for the mail account you are trying to access or if there is no response from the server.
Resolution:
Please check the user name and password again before attempting to connect again. Alternatively wait for sometime before attempting to Login again.

10.I am composing a new mail but I get a “Maximum 10 email IDs” message when I try to enter mail ids in the To, Cc or Bcc fields, why?
RemoMail supports only a maximum of 10 email ids that can be entered into each of the To, Cc or Bcc fields.
Resolution:
Do not attempt to add more than 10 email ids to the To, Cc or Bcc fields.

11. I get a “Server busy” error when I try to connect using RemoMail. Why?
When you try to connect to your mail server, RemoMail attempts to connect to the mail server for up to 90 seconds and if still it does not receive a response from the server it throws a “Server Busy” error. This happens if there is a lot of traffic on the Mail server and a lot of people are trying to connect to the server.
Resolution:
Please wait for sometime before attempting to connect again.

12. I get a “Address Book Full” warning when I use the “Save Info” option on RemoMail. Why?
This happens if the phone book on your mobile phone is full and there is no room to store another phone number on it.
Resolution:
Remove some unwanted phone numbers and names from the phone book which will free some space on the phonebook.

13.Why does RemoMail display “Outbox full “or “Drafts full” message when attempting to save a message to the Drafts folder?
If the number of Mail messages in your Drafts folder or Outbox reaches the maximum limit of 5 (in case of LG 5235, Pantech 711 or Kyocera) and 10 (for LG 6335 and Samsung S-magic) then RemoMail throws the above warning.
Resolution: Delete some unwanted messages from Outbox or Drafts folder before attempting to save a new message into the Drafts folder or Outbox.

14. When I am using my IMAP account and when I am navigating through the folders present on my IMAP account; why do I get a warning – “Max. Folder Level”?
Keeping in mind the navigation and memory issues on the Mobile devices, RemoMail has set a limit of 9 on the number of levels of a folder that can be displayed. If your IMAP folder has a folder (child folder) within a folder (parent folder) and so on till the 9th level, then RemoMail does not allow you to navigate to a folder beyond the 9th level.
Resolution:
You can navigate back to the parent folder or log onto your mail account using a web browser and view that folder.

15.Why do I get a “Check email id” message when I try to log into my mail account?
You will get this message if the Mail that you are sending has no mail id in the To, Cc or the Bcc fields or if the email id is wrong. RemoMail has to have at least one receiver mail id for the send option to work.
Resolution:
Enter at least one email id in the ‘To’ field and then press “Send” to send the mail.

16. I have configured 5 mail accounts on my phone (7 in case of some phones). When I try to configure a new account, I get a message “Max 5(or 7) accounts only”. Why?
This happens if the number of mail accounts that you have configured has reached 5 (for some phones) and 7 (for some) because RemoMail supports only 5 (or 7) active accounts at any given time based on the phone that you are using.
Resolution: Delete an existing account and reconfigure a new account so that the total number of accounts configured on RemoMail does not exceed 5 (or 7 for some phones) at any time.

17. What is the maximum number of characters that I can enter in the “User ID” field while configuring a new account?
RemoMail allows you to enter upto a maximum of 64 characters in the “User ID” field and a maximum of 48 characters in the “Password” field, while you are configuring a new account.

18. How many email ids can I enter in the “To”, “Cc”, “Bcc” fields?
You can enter a maximum of 10 mail Ids in each of these (To, Cc, Bcc) fields where each mail id can have a maximum of 48 characters.

19. How many characters can I enter into a Signature?
You can enter a maximum of 48 characters while creating a “Signature”. You may enter a name with address or a simple greeting. This will be appended to every mail that is sent from RemoMail.

20.I get a message ‘Server Busy’ after some time. Why?
Usually RemoMail waits for a period of about 2 minutes for a response to come from the server (this number indicates the worst case time for a response to come in). In case RemoMail does not receive a response from the server, then RemoMail will display an appropriate message to the user. This condition may occur during a Compose Mail, Get Mail, Reply or Reply All.

21. Why do I get a ‘Server busy’ while I am fetching mails?
If for some reason the Mail server that you are connecting to, is not able to service your request (for e.g. a Yahoo server may be busy processing a large number of requests) then RemoMail displays a message “Server Busy”. This may also happen due to a lot of network traffic. You may retry after some time.

22. I am trying to access my yahoo account but I am getting a "Failed" message everytime. Why?
For security reasons, sometimes Yahoo may block particular users and lock that account for a short period of time. Open a browser and connect to your Yahoo account. After login, you will be taken to a security page that asks you to enter a 4-digit security code. Once you enter the code your account will be unlocked and then you can continue to use your Yahoo account as usual.

23. Why do I get a message "Limit between 3 – 10"?
You can configure and set up the page size for the number of headers displayed per page on your phone, from the Main Menu screen, Settings option. You get the Page Size screen. Enter the number of mails you wish to display on the page. If the page size entered by the user is less than 3 or is greater than 10, then the message "Limit between 3-10" is displayed.

24. Why do I get an error message when I receive a mail in the Subject field saying ‘Error, incompatible Mail’? Also the content of the mail is not visible. How can this problem be resolved?
RemoMail maintains a standard format to receive the mails. Sometimes the mails are in a different encoding format than what is supported by RemoMail in which case the mail cannot be viewed on the phone. This is indicated by the error message. However you may view the mail by accessing your mail account from a Web Browser.
