RemoBackup Tutorial
6. Restoring Contacts into a New Phone
For your existing phone
If, for whatever reason, you wish to restore the contacts you have backed up and you haven't changed phones, simply log on to the application and select "Restore Contacts." This will download all the contacts you last backed up. If you had made changes after that, this will restore your phonebook the way it was when you last backed it up, so some of the new data may be lost.
For your new phone
You will need to download the RemoBackup application to the new phone. Before purchasing, make sure that RemoBackup is supported on your phone. Then see step 1 of this tutorial for downloading instructions. Once downloaded, log in using the same mobile number and PIN that you used in the previous phone.
If you've changed numbers, log into the account using your old number and PIN, and then click on "settings." You can change it to your new mobile number and PIN at that time, and then choose "restore contacts." Remember that a PIN must be 4 digits long.
Exit RemoBackup
To exit the application from the main menu, you can highlight and select "exit." Or, you can press the "end" key (the same key you use to end a phone call).
