8.Groups

  • Corporate contacts or members can be assigned to groups for better workgroup communications
  • Only the Corporate Administrator can assign or reassign members to their respective groups
  • With groups, the Corporate Administrator can send email messages to the group instead of to each individual user

    8.1 Functions of the Administrator

  • All the contacts of the Corporate Administrator can be assigned to member groups
  • The Corporate Administrator can add, edit, and delete members from the group
  • He can add multiple members to the group
  • A single contact or member can be added to one or multiple groups
  • The contacts added to the groups are automatically shared among members of their respective groups
  • The Corporate Administrator can also remove the members from one group and add them to another group or change an associated member to an unassociated member

    8.2 Create a Group

  • Click on Manage Groups tab. The Groups page is displayed
  • You have an option to "Add Groups". You also have the option to give a search to the existing groups
  • To add a new group, enter the appropriate group name in the Group Name field
  • Add a brief description about the created group and click on "Add New Group" button at the bottom of the Add New Group section
  • The new group is activated and displayed in the list at the bottom of the Groups page

    8.3 To Add Contacts to a Group

  • Navigate to Corporate Account page
  • Check the box against the contacts which have to be applied to the group
  • Select the group type from the drop-down list (java, oracle, test and so on) and click on the Apply to Group option
