How To Register Your iDatebook/iPhonebook Web Account
Step
1: Download Application to Phone
Before registering, make sure you have downloaded iDatebook™
to your BREW enabled phone.
You
should have already completed Step 1 during the Download part
of this Tutorial.
If
you skipped Download, stop. Please go back and complete it.
Step
2: Create your iPhonebook/iDatebook Web Account.
You
will be asked to enter basic information including:
*
first and last name
* email address (acts as your Web Account login user name)
* password (combined with your email address identifies you,
and only you)
* mobile phone number (identifies your mobile phone with your
Web Account)
* PIN (create a personal identification number; used to login
to iPhonebook...and iDatebook...on your mobile phone the first
time you enter the application).

During
registration, a pop-up window may come up and ask you if you
have changed wireless service providers and kept your existing
phone number. Because iPhonebook identifies you by your mobile
phone number, it is important that your account is set up
properly. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window before
continuing. Once you have entered the information, you will
click on the "Continue to Step 3" button, which looks like
this:

Step
3: Download and Install the synchronization software
to your computer.
On
the final page of creating your Web Account, you'll see the
following link:

Now!
Note:
If you do not wish to sync now, you can do this
later. Once you decide to do it, log into your web account,
then click on the sync/import tab and click "download now"
link to download. If you do wish to sync now...
*
Click on the Download Now! link. A wizard will guide you through:

easy syncs in the future.
2. Setting up your preferences
*
Choose to sync both contacts and calendar (if you're also
planning on purchasing iDatebook. You can uncheck calendar
otherwise).
* Choose sync timing
(a certain time of day, upon computer startup or manually)
3.
Performing your first sync
You
can always perform a manual sync by double-clicking on the
