2.
Registering and logging into your iDatebook/iPhonebook web
account, and downloading your sync software
Now
that you have iDatebook on your mobile phone, you need to
"connect" your mobile phone to your desktop computer. You
do this by creating a Web Account, which serves as an intermediary
between the two.
Note:
Your iDatebook/iPhonebook Web Account is designed for use
for iDatebook and iPhonebook in combination, should you decide
to purchase iPhonebook in the future. You do not need to have
both to register, and, conversely, you do not need to register
for two separate web accounts, should you want to have both
iDatebook and iPhonebook on the same phone.
Make
sure that you are using a Windows-based computer which has
your desktop PIM (Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus
Notes or Palm software). Mac OS is currently not supported.
The Registration process will prompt you through 3 steps:
1. Downloading the application on your mobile phone
(You already did this in the download step!)
2. Creating your iDatebook/iPhonebook Web Account
3. Downloading and installing the synchronization software
* Click on the register button below. This will open a new,
secure window to guide you through steps 2 and 3 described
above. When done, continue with this Tutorial.
