7. Using Remo Calendar

For the calendar function, we will discuss the following:

View, Add, Edit, Delete Events
Calendar Reminder Pop-ups (aka SMS Text Message Alerts)
Shortcut Keys

View, Add, Edit, Delete Events

When you select the Calendar option from Remo's main menu, today's date will be displayed showing your events. This is the Day View. If no events are scheduled, "No Events" will be displayed. The following example shows what a day with three events looks like:

To view an event:

* Highlight and select the event

The event details will be displayed. You can then choose to edit or delete the event. Note the icons at the bottom of the above screen. Here's what they mean:

Add an Event

Go to Week View

Go to Month View

Refresh Calendar (When changes are made in the PC, you need to select this button for the phone calendar to update).

Why is there a refresh option? When events are updated and synced from your PC, they do not automatically update when you navigate to the calendar section in Remo. We do this so that you don't always need to make a data call when viewing the calendar. A six week cache of data is stored in the iDatebook calendar in the phone, for faster viewing/toggling.

Again, if you know you've synced changes from your PC, when logging into the "Calendar" in Remo, get in the habit of selecting the "Refresh Calendar" button []. This will ensure you are up to date. In some phones, a reminder will come up if you haven't refreshed in a while.

Text Message Alerts

To receive a text message alert, log into your Web Account, select the Options tab and choose your wireless service provider. Note: your wireless service provider may charge a fee for receiving text message alerts.

Shortcut Keys

" # " key to toggle between the Day, Week or Month View.

This concludes the Remo Tutorial. Continue to explore and use Remo. If you have questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for purchasing Remo!
