Sync
Contacts
Sync
Contacts will download contacts and changes from your Web
Account to your phone and upload contacts and changes from
your mobile phone to your Web Account.
*
Select Sync Contacts:

Depending
on how many contacts are being dowloading or how many edits
were detected, this may take a few moments. When concluded,
the display will indicate how many records were added, updated
or deleted:

Note:
The Sync contacts option for Remo in your phone does not initiate
sync from your desktop PIM (Outlook, Palm, Lotus) to your
web account. This either needs to be done manually, or you
can set the sync software to periodically sync automatically.

Add

When
using Search Contacts to access a contact's phone numbers,
you have the option to add that contact to the mobile phone's

using Search Contact often on this contact.
Before
doing this, be sure to find out what your phonebook's capacity
limit is. Click here
for more info.
To
manually add a contact to the address book:
*
Perform a successful search & select the desired name

*
Select Add to Phone To view other information about this contact
that you may have stored in our desktop PIM.
*
Select Details...

Additional
information is displayed when selecting Details. If you are

Search
Corporate Directory
This
menu option will appear only if you have set up access to
corporate email. If your company has approved your access
to the corporate directory, you can search the corporate directory
in a similar fashion to searching your own contacts. In addition
to name, you can search by department.
To
set up access to the corporate directory:
*
Select Email from Remo's main menu
*
Select Account Setup and choose the corporate email account
to edit
*
Scroll down and select "Advanced"
*
Select "LDAP" and enter the server address, Port #, SSL setting
and Domain name
You
must obtain the server address, port #, SSL setting and domain
name from your IT department. Click
here for a pdf document
that you can download and forward to your IT department for
email server settings.
Once
you have configured these settings, the Search Corporate Directory
menu option will appear in Remo's Contact menu (where Corporate
Directory = Email account name):
