Remoba, Inc. acquires assets of Xpherix Corporation
New Resources to expand current Xpherix product line

SANTA CLARA -- January 28th, 2005 -- Remoba Inc. (www.remoba.com), a newly formed company, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Xpherix Corporation, a leading provider of mobile productivity applications. Financial terms of
the transaction were not disclosed.

Xpherix Corporation, founded in 1999, is a leading provider of high-value, low-cost mobile productivity applications that provide secure access to users' contacts, calendars and email via cell phones. Xpherix solutions are ideal for mobile professionals whose lifestyles demand constant connectivity without the cost-prohibitive proprietary devices, data plans and substantial IT maintenance required of competing solutions. Xpherix patent-pending technology and telco-class infrastructure for accessing, storing and automatically updating personal address books and enterprise directories create incremental revenue opportunities for telecom carriers, call centers and mobile device manufacturers.
Xpherix is a privately held company.

"Xpherix has a solid reputation for delivering high-quality, user-friendly applications," says Guru Thalapaneni, founder and CEO of Remoba Inc. "I intend to maintain that level of quality while expanding our product line to include new and exciting consumer and enterprise applications."

The changes will have minimal impact on current Xpherix subscribers and carrier partners. They can continue to use the services undisrupted and do not have to take any action. Xpherix applications will continue to be sold under their current product brand names and virtually all Xpherix personnel have been hired by Remoba.

"For many of our carrier partners, iPhonebook is synonymous with downloading, accessing and safeguarding contact information and Remo is the only solution for turning your phone into a wireless PDA," says Harry Lane, formerly of Xpherix but now Director of Sales for Remoba Inc. "Those strong brand names will continue, just now they'll be under the Remoba umbrella."
